The ‘Under the Dome’ panel at San Diego Comic Con let loose more than a few secrets that will amp up the intensity this season…
‘Under the Dome’ returned to San Diego Comic Con on Thursday for a panel while the show was already deep into season 2, currently airing on CBS. While it’s fairly normal for shows in the middle of the season to keep secrets close to the vest, ‘Under the Dome’ managed to let loose a few big moments that are coming up for the rest of the summer.
Show runner Neal Baer along with the cast who appeared including Dean Norris, Mike Vogel and Rachelle Lafevre, took questions from the fans in attendance while also showing two clips from an upcoming episode where it seems as if another cast member might be dying soon.

— The first clip showed Barbie rappelling down a cavern with the help of Julia and Rebecca — but the metal rods inserted into the rock face won’t hold and he’s forced to cut himself loose or risk pulling Julia down with him. He tells her he loves her just before falling down into the blackened abyss.
— This scene leads into another spoiler that Baer let go when he admitted that someone (at least one person) would find a way out of the dome this season. It seemed as if he was referencing Barbie after his dangerous fall, but no actual confirmation.
— The other clip showed Big Jim in an argument with Rebecca where his dark side comes out once again. He threatens her after she lies to him about something happening at the school. Baer and Norris both seemed to think Big Jim is going to succumb to his darker nature again this season at some point.
— The body count will rise. More deaths are coming to Chester’s Mills but just because they’re dead doesn’t mean they can’t come back as avatars. They even teased that one of the famous deaths from this season — either Linda or Angie — will likely be back this season in some form or another.
— Angie’s killer has been revealed following the last episode where Sam has scratches on his shoulder while trying to make the moves on Julia
— What was in that locker? The locker where Angie died — that will be revealed soon.
The cast and crew also reiterated that at this point in the show, they are only about a month into be locked under the dome just for anyone who is curious.
