Another Batman villain is headed to ‘Gotham’ with Colm Feore set to play ‘The Dollmaker’….
Early on in season one of ‘Gotham’, Selina Kyle mentions somebody called ‘The Dollmaker’ as the nefarious mind behind mass kidnappings of children in the city.
Now The Dollmaker is officially headed to Gotham City.
Colm Feore — best known for roles on ’24’ and ‘The Borgias’ — will play The Dollmaker according to Deadline.
In ‘Gotham’, the Dollmaker is Dr. Francis Dulmacher, a madman with genius level intelligence and ‘vast medical knowledge’. The comic book version is much different as The Dollmaker comes to life thanks to his father, who is a serial killer who kills people on ‘hunting trips’ and eats their flesh. The Dollmaker’s father is eventually gunned down by a young Gotham police officer named Jim Gordon.
It’s unclear how closely this new Dollmaker will resemble the one from the comics, but he’s coming to ‘Gotham’ later this season so stay tuned.
