There hasn’t been a more gruesome death in the history of ‘Game of Thrones’ than in episode 8 of sesaon 4 when The Mountain Gregor Clegane put his thumbs through the eyes of Prince Oberyn Martell of Dorne before crushing his skull into a dozen pieces in front of an entire audience.
Oberyn is dead, but his legacy lives on because his daughters — known throughout his homeland of Dorne as ‘The Sand Sankes’ — will be debuting this season and needless to say they loved their father very much and now seek revenge for his murder.
