‘American Horror Story: Hotel’ will welcome Angela Bassett back to the cast in a series regular role this year….
Angela Bassett — who has starred in two previous installments of ‘American Horror Story’ including ‘Coven’ and ‘Freak Show’ — will return for the newest season dubbed ‘American Horror Story: Hotel’.
FX confirmed the news in a press release on Thursday.
Bassett joins fellow ‘American Horror Story’ alums Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, and Kathy Bates on the new season as well as full-time newcomers Matt Bomer, Wes Bentley and Lady GaGa
Production on the 13-episode season will begin in Los Angeles in late summer with an October debut date on FX.
