‘American Crime Story: The People vs. OJ Simpson’ continue to bulk up the cast with another famous lawyer and a lawyer’s wife now joining the show….
‘American Crime Story: The People vs. OJ Simpson’ might become the most highly anticipated series of the fall considering the massive cast the show has already put in place to portray all the major players involved in the O.J. Simpson trial that happened in the mid-1990’s.
The newest cast members will play a famous part of Simpson’s all-star legal team and the other will play the wife of another of his attorneys.
First up is Evan Handler — best known for his work on ‘Sex and the City’ and ‘Californication’ — as he plays Simpson attorney Alan Dershowitz, who was part of the former football player’s ‘dream team’ of legal counsel.
Also added to the show was Cheryl Ladd — best known for her role on ‘Charlie’s Angels’ — as she plays the wife of lead counsel Robert Shapiro (played in the show by John Travolta).
Filming is already underway for ‘American Crime Story: The People vs. OJ Simpson’ for the 10 episode event series with the debut this fall on FX.
