Rupert Wyatt — best known for his work on ‘Rise of the Planet of the Apes’ as well as ‘The Gambler’ — will be the man in charge ti bring raging Cajun mutant ‘Gambit’ to life on the big screen.
The X-Men spinoff starring Channing Tatum is set for release on October 7, 2016.
Wyatt became a hot commodity after his work on ‘Rise of the Planet of the Apes’ in 2011 and now he’ll get his chance at a superhero blockbuster as he directs ‘Gambit’ for 21st Century FOX.
As of now, Tatum is the only star set for the movie, but with a script and director in place expect casting announcements to happen at any time.
