On the heels of a showdown with the Inhumans last season, ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ season 3 will feature the introduction of The Secret Warriors…
The upcoming third season of ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ is set to introduce a popular spinoff group of heroes first created by writer Brian Michael Bendis back in 2008.
The team was first created when Nick Fury was ousted from S.H.I.E.L.D. and forced to go on the run before he decided to team up with a new super powered group of heroes to help save the world. The group included Quake aka Daisy Johnson (Skye/Daisy on the show played by Chloe Bennett) and a slew of other powered individuals that Fury recruited to help him combat a new threat from an alien invader.
The off-shoot team will now be introduced in the new season of ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ debuting this fall on ABC.
The introduction could be part of Agent Phil Coulson’s plan to integrate more people with abilities into a team that could be used to save lives while keeping them off the books from the main S.H.I.E.L.D. roster
More information about the introduction of the Secret Warriors and their inclusion in ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ season 3 will be revealed at the San Diego Comic Con panel for the show coming up on Friday, July 10.
It’s possible the producers and writers of ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ could even introduce a new character or two who will be joining the Secret Warriors for the upcoming season.
