The full length trailer for ‘American Horror Story: Apocalypse’ has arrived with teases of a nuclear winter and the fallout afterwards…
After dropping a teaser trailer on Tuesday, ‘American Horror Story: Apocalypse’ returned with a full length trailer on Wednesday — one week ahead of the season debut on FX on September 12.
The trailer shows what appears to be a panicked society fleeing Santa Monica before a nuclear weapon is triggered that apparently sends the world into chaos.
That’s when we meet Sarah Paulson’s new character Venable, who appears to lead a cult of some sort looking to reshape the world in their image as opposed to what was thriving before the bomb went off.
The trailer also gives a look at numerous returning characters as ‘Apocalypse’ will bring together casts from the first season dubbed ‘Murder House’ and the third season called ‘Coven’. There are flashes of Sarah Paulson’s other character — the Supreme witch Cordelia Foxx from ‘Coven’ — leading her pack of witches as well as the Rubber Man — Tate Langdon as played by Evan Peters — popping up as well.
