Rumors about the next season of American Horror Story have been confirmed with the show going to a carnival in the 1950’s….
The moment that American Horror Story: Coven (season 3) came to an end, speculation began for what comes next for the popular FX series and now at least the location and theme of the show have been confirmed.
American Horror Story writer Douglas Petrie took part in a Nerdist writer’s panel over the weekend where he confirmed that the fourth season will indeed take place with the background setting of a carnival.
“It doesn’t have a title, but that’s the idea,” Petrie said when asked point blank about the show taking place in a carnival. “That’s the idea. That’s very roughly the idea.”
What we knew for sure going into the next season was that creator Ryan Murphy already confirmed that the show would be taking place primarily in 1950 and actress Jessica Lange was working on a German accent for the show.
Now with this news confirmed, even more rumors can abound about the creepy happenings at a 1950’s carnival. The possibilities for ick factor are limitless.
American Horror Story season 4 will debut in October on FX.
