Anthony Mackie says after filming Captain America: Civil War that it’s by far the best Marvel movie yet…
There are a lot of high hopes for Captain America: Civil War, which opens in theaters on May 6, and one of the stars was so impressed that he believes it’s the best effort yet in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Anthony Mackie, who plays Falcon in the Marvel Universe, says that the best Marvel movies made thus far have been the original Iron Man as well as Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
After filming Captain America: Civil War, Mackie has changed his mind because he believes this new movie is superior to both of those and fans are going to be blown away when they see the movie unfold in just a few short months.
“I feel the best Marvel movies thus far have been Winter Soldier and Iron Man” Mackie said recently. “And I think this movie far surpasses those two movies.
“I think the Russo brothers and Marvel have done a very good job with upping the ante every movie. And this one definitely does not fail to live up to that.”
The Russo brothers were also in charge of Captain America: The Winter Soldier as well as the highly anticipated Avengers: Infinity War movies, which are expected to be the biggest blockbusters of the entire Marvel franchise when they are released over the next few years.
Captain America: Civil War will definitely pack a lot of star power into one movie with a slew of characters from the Marvel Cinematic Universe making appearances as well as Tom Holland making his debut as the new Spider-Man.
