In the latest Arrow recap, can they save Sara or is it too late? And who is this new card throwing baddy?

Dig begins the show by trying to chase down a ghost/hive guy. He gets ambushed by him and the guy has him in his sights, but he doesn’t take the shot. In comes Oliver, briefly on his Arrowcycle, but it takes Felicity hacking a construction vehicle, Can you even do that?, to stall the guy long enough for Dig to get there. He stops the guy from cyanide toothing himself, and asks some questions. All he gets is a big shock that sends him flying off the guy.
Back on ole Parbat, a great vacation spot, so I’m told, Nyssa and the new Ras, Malcolm, do some sparring. After she gives him a slight cut on the neck, and he cures it with the pits, Thea and Laurel show up to ask/demand him to bring Sara back to life, but Malcolm refuses.
Dig gives Felicity the cyanide tooth and they set to analyze it. Felicity talks about how it’s great to have OTA(original team arrow) back and asks if they want to go to their usual spot for drinks. Oliver agrees and asks Dig, but he blows them off and heads home. He is obviously not over the hole kidnapping his wife thing.
He arrives home to see the door ajar, and a man inside. After the man show his ARGIS card, Dig relaxes a bit. The man says Lyla had him do/find something for her. He shows Dig a picture of a woman. One the back of the picture it says, Mina Fayad, and Dig is told that she is the one who set up the hit on his brother.
Mina and a mystery man, show up at Damian’s alter place, I still don’t get what this place is, and she informs him that the tattooed man is there to help with the vigilante problem. Damian asks for a demonstration and has his men bring out the guy that got away from Dig and Oli in the beginning. He tells the mystery man to kill him, and he pulls some cards off his body and throws them, with great force, into the man killing him. He has to be a meta, and where is Cisco so we can get a cool name for him.
Back at the Parbat, Laurel is pining over Sara’s coffin, see what I did there, no ok moving on, and she swears that she is going to bring her back. Nyssa tries to talk her out of it, but Laurel has none of that.
From the tooth analyzation, Felicity notices that the guys DNA isn’t all there?!? But just as they delve into it more, Oli gets a call on his police scanner and heads off. Felicity tries to call Dig in, but he is too busy tailing Mina. Oli drops in on the crime scene and finds two dead victims. He is quickly confronted by the “meta” and a fight ensues. After some back and forth, Oli gets an edge, except he really doesn’t and the baddy forces Oliver to high tail it, with a card lodged in his arm, and get away. Meanwhile, Dig is caught, sort of, and he quickly disables the guy, making so much noise that it startles Mina and her men. A gun fight ensues as Mina’s men put her in the limo and drive off. Both boys come up empty on this one.
Thea gazes off into the beautiful scenery of Nanda while Malcolm comes to check on her. Her tries to explain that what she is feeling is rage, and the only way to subside it is with death. She yells at him, and then he tells her of a man on the top of the mountain, a healer that may be able to help. He tells her to be ready “at first light”.
While Felicity fixes up Oli’s dings, she explains to him that the “meta” is materialize cards off his body, Cisco named him Double Down, or DD for short. She then proceeds to go off on the boys for almost getting themselves killed. Then is true parent fashion, she tells them that they will stay in the basement until they fix their problems. The boys let a bit loose, but after Oli tells him that he has to give him a chance to win his trust back Dig changes the subject. He tells Oli about what Deadshot told him all those years ago. Oli tells Dig about a new player, Mina, and that gets Dig’s attention. He takes Oli to a place where he can get a chance to get back his trust…
Felicity talk to Curtis about his inventions, and then she gives him the card to analyze. She gives him a BS story about it and then heads out. You can tell he doesn’t believe a word she’s saying.
Dig takes Oli to casa Diggle and shows him his book of his brother. He tells him to flip to the last page where he sees the picture of Mina.
Darhk let’s Mina and DD have it. He really hates failure. He tells DD he wants another demonstration, and informs him that he wants him to try to kill him. DD obliges but Darhk stops the card in midair. He then throws it into Mina’s neck, killing her, and almost does the same to DD. Darhk is no joke!
A sleeping Thea is attacked by a couple of Malcolm’s assassins. She kills both of them, without breaking a sweat, and realizes it was a test. Malcolm explains to her that there is no healer, and that those kills will subdue the rage for at least a few weeks. It must be a kill a week kind of thing.
The OAT searches for Mina, but only finds the location of her phone. Dig is disappointed but Oli reassures him that they will find some answers.
As Thea is rushing Laurel to get out, Malcolm intercedes and says that he will try to bring Sara back. I guess that’s how a Ras says he is sorry.
Felicity heads to Curtis’s office again, to ask about the card. After some smartsy mumbo jumbo about it, she asks if they can track the owner. Curtis chuckles and says, actually the owner should be able to find it. A light bulb goes off in Felicity’s head and as she tries to rush Curtis out DD shows up. Somehow they get away, without a scratch, and she kicks him down below as the elevator doors close. I was hoping they were done with the whole Felicity can beat bad guys in the most unlikely ways thing. He then follows them down to the, finally it is revealed that the Arrow basement is actually the basement of Palmer tech, but again she fights him off, with a machine gun. He runs off, aggggggggghh, and the only thing that happens is that a light falls on Curtis’s head, ko’ing him. Oliver and Dig come back and see that miraculously Felicity ran off DD. They pinpoint him, and head to finish it.
The ritual begins with lowering Sara’s body into the pit waters. Nysaa tries to intercede, but they continue on. The waters bubble but nothing happens. After they just about give up Laurel notices something. Sara slowly rises up out of the water, and she wolfs out, kind of. They subdue her before she does any damage.
Dig and Oli stop DD before he leaves town. They wrap him up quickly, but he still gets a shot off when Dig presses for answers. Oli jumps in front of Dig and takes 3 cards to the chest. Fortunately the Kevlar stopped them, but Diggle is happy that Oliver took, 3 meta human tattooed playing cards for him. Oh those boys.
After all is said and down, the OTA finally have those drinks, and Oli informs Dig he has a surprise for him.
Felicity check on Curtis, who seems to be fine, and thanks him for not telling the board about her secret stuff. He phone goes all matrix again, but this time an orange felicity comes up, like someone is trying to contact her. Could it be Neo?! Kidding
Back at Parbat Sara is chained up, still growling, and Malcolm is brought to the main room. They all notice Nyssa standing there, and she informs them that she has destroyed the pits. As they drag her away, she swears vengeance on Malcolm. Will we have a new Ras this season?
In the Flashbacks Oli tries to keep the people alive, but the lead guy just wants to kill them when they get out of line. They find out that someone steels some of the slam, part heroin, part coca leaf, and the lead guy kills one of them before Oli leans in and says let me torture them instead. After a few minutes of torture the, lone woman, rises up and says she stole the slam, and they want to kill her. Again Oli steps in and says, no let me make her disappear. He takes her out and loses his tail, by blowing him up, and he informs the woman that he wants to help
