There has been a lot of speculation about the upcoming four-way crossover event on the CW and it looks like ‘Arrow’ star Stephen Amell just revealed one of the villains….
There’s been a ton of rumor and speculation about the massive crossover event planned for the CW this year when ‘Arrow’, ‘The Flash’, ‘Supergirl’ and ‘Legends of Tomorrow’ all get together this season.
Now ‘Arrow’ star Stephen Amell has revealed one piece of the puzzle after tweeting out a photo alongside infamous villain Deathstroke on Monday.

This revelation comes as a surprise after Deathstroke was also confirmed as the featured villain in the upcoming ‘Batman’ solo film directed by Ben Affleck. Following Joe Manganiello’s casting for the part, fans wondered if Deathstroke would now be taken off the canvas for use in ‘Arrow’ despite the character already appearing on the show several times in the past.
Well that answer came on Monday after Amell showed a photo sitting next to Deathstroke on a park bench. Now there are no details on how the character will play into the upcoming season of ‘Arrow’ or how Deathstroke fits into the 100th episode, which is currently being filmed in Vancouver.
What we do know is that Deathstroke will play a part in the massive crossover event that will span all four shows currently airing on the CW.
There’s no word on when the crossover event will air but considering ‘Arrow’ is filming episode 100 now and ‘The Flash’ just finished filming episode 7, it’s likely that the shows will dig into the event before the end of 2016.
‘Arrow’ returns for season 5 on Wednesday, October 5 at 8pm ET on the CW.
