The writers for Marvel’s ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ parts one and two have been chosen and if continuity is what you’re looking for, you’ll have it….
Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely are officially the go to writing pair for Marvel because the dynamic duo behind ‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier’ are now on board for the next three major films from the studio.
Markus and McFeely are the scribes behind ‘Captain America: Civil War’, which is just about to go into production.
And now Markus and McFeely have officially signed on to pen the scripts for Marvel’s ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ parts one and two that will mark the end of Marvel’s phase 3 films over the next few years.
“Chris and Steve have been an integral part of the Marvel family since the early days of Phase 1, and their work speaks for itself,” said Producer Kevin Feige. “We couldn’t be more excited to have them with us to help guide the Avengers through their biggest story yet.”
Markus and McFeely also created the ABC miniseries ‘Agent Carter’ and co-write ‘Thor: The Dark World’. They take over for Joss Whedon, who wrote both ‘The Avengers’ and ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ before bowing out for the two part sequel for ‘Infinity War’.
‘Avengers: Infinity War’ will be filmed back-to-back under the direction of Joe and Anthony Russo with ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ part one due out May 4, 2018 and ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ part two out May 3, 2019.
