Monday nights are going to be a prime time for A&E television after the cable network announced an ambitios lineup for the the spring season with ‘Bates Motel’ and the new series ‘The Returned’ sharing space at the start of the week.
‘Bates Motel’ season 3 will debut on Monday night, March 9 at 9pm ET followed by new series ‘The Returned’ at 10pm ET.
‘The Returned’ is based on the popular French series ‘Le Revenants’, which follows the lives of people in a small town when dead loved ones start returning from the dead with no explanation as to why or how it happened. The original series reached cult status last year after running on The Sundance channel in the United States and A&E quickly moved to remake the series for an American audience.
Both series are executive produced by Carlton Cuse.
