The new ‘Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice’ trailer debuted at Comic Con with a ton of new information….
So we are now less than a year away from ‘Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice’ opening in theaters (March 25, 2016 to be exact) and Warner Bros. debuted a new trailer for the film at San Diego Comic Con.
Now the video for the trailer is at the bottom but we wanted to point out a few details and maybe you can point out even more?
— Holly Hunter plays a United States Senator who blames Superman for the destruction caused in ‘Man of Steel’
— Bruce Wayne was there the day Superman and Zod battled it out and he owned one of the buildings destroyed and people he knew died in the carnage. Former residents blame him for the loss of life.
— Holly Hunter’s character calls on Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg) for help in dealing with Superman.
— Lex recovered Zed’s body after Superman killed him in their battle.
— Bruce Wayne looks up at a glass case housing Robin’s costume with the Joker’s writing on the front saying ‘HaHaHa Joke’s on You Batman’ paying homage to the classic ‘Death in the Family’ storyline from the comics where the Joker kills Robin (Jason Todd).
— Batman is retired when this story starts and he comes out of retirement with a mission to destroy Superman
— Metropolis and Gotham City are sister cities like Oakland and San Francisco.
— There is at least a flashback to Bruce Wayne’s parents’ death
— Alfred Pennyworth is against Batman attacking Superman, believes Superman is on the same side.
— Lex has kryptonite in his possession and clearly he’s going to use it.
— Lex sure seems to have a lot of hair in all these clips. A wig maybe?
