With more footage likely headed to San Diego Comic Con, plot details for ‘Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice’ have been released…
You’ll have to wait until March 25, 2016 to actually see ‘Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice’ but Warner Bros. has revealed a few plot details about the upcoming movie to tide everyone over.
The name of the movie should have clued everyone into the synopsis already but if not prepare to be shocked — Batman and Superman will be at odds in this movie!
“Fearing the actions of a god-like super hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.”
The ‘new threat’ is what has everyone guessing right now but chances are all roads lead to Lex Luthor being played by Jesse Eisenberg in the upcoming film.
There have also been rumors that Doomsday (the character who killed Superman in the comics) might make an appearance as well but with scheduled guest spots by Aquaman (Jason Momoa) and Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) already happening in the movie, adding another major DC villain could be overkill.
Whatever the threat is it will likely bring Batman and Superman together to help save the world.
Keep an eye out in July around San Diego Comic Con with DC and Warner Bros. expected to release the first footage from the film or at least another full length trailer for ‘Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice’.
