No spoilers lie ahead but should you stick around past the end of ‘Black Panther’ in hopes of seeing a post credits scene?
At this point in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the post credits scene is almost a staple and largely expected as a way to set up the next film in the series but ‘Black Panther’ might be one of the most important movies yet because the next film set for release is ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ in May.
If you’ve seen ‘Thor: Ragnarok’, you already know there was a post credits scene in that move that tied directly to ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ with an ominous ship shadowing the survivors from Asgard, which we assume is Thanos making his way towards Earth.
So does ‘Black Panther’ have any post credits scenes?
Yes, there are two of them so make sure to stick around for the entire credits sequence to find out what exactly unfolds.
There is a mid-credits scene, which ties back into the ‘Black Panther’ movie and potentially teases a sequel while the second post credits scene is the one that will most likely be attached to something related to ‘Avengers: Infinity War’.
Again, no spoilers but it’s definitely going to be worth sticking around for an extra seven minutes or so after ‘Black Panther’ ends to see what’s in store for the next phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
‘Black Panther’ opens in theaters this Friday nationwide with first screenings taking place on Thursday night.
