It’s hard to imagine Halloween without a few scary movies and Blumhouse Productions is making sure October doesn’t go by without dishing out a little bit of terror with four new movies headed to Amazon Prime.
As part of an overall eight movie deal, Blumhouse Productions will debut four new films in October with two movies dropping on Oct. 6 and then two more movies released on Oct. 13.

THE LIE — OCT. 6
When their teenaged daughter confesses to impulsively killing her best friend, two desperate parents attempt to cover up the horrific crime, leading them into a complicated web of lies and deception.”
The Lie stars Mireille Enos (The Killing), Peter Sarsgaard (An Education) and Joey King (The Conjuring).
THE BLACK BOX — OCT. 6
“After losing his wife and his memory in a car accident, a single father undergoes an agonizing experimental treatment that causes him to question who he really is.”
Black Box stars Mamoudou Athie (Jurassic World 3, The Circle), Phylicia Rashad (Creed), Amanda Christine (Colony), Tosin Morohunfola (The Chi, The 24th), Charmaine Bingwa (Trees of Peace, Little Sista), and Troy James (The Flash, Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark).
EVIL EYE — OCT. 13

All four films will be available exclusively on Amazon Prime. The next four films in the series from Blumhouse will drop in 2021.
