The casting producers have been busy on Monday with a huge list of new actors and actresses being added to ongoing series. Arrow has added a new bad guy to season 3 while The Flash has a new reporter coming to town.
Let’s catch up on all the casting news that’s fit to print.
— The Flash has added General Hospital actor Roger Howarth as a recurring character for its debut season. Howarth will play award-winning reporter Mason Bridge and he will be in charge of overseeing aspiring reporter Iris West on the show.
— Arrow added British bad boy Vinnie Jones to the show for season 3 in a three-episode arc where he will portray Danny ‘Brick’ Brickwell, a criminal gang leader with skin so thick it’s nearly impervious to any kind of weapon.
— Sleepy Hollow also adds a Brit to its cast with ‘The Tudors’ and ‘Beauty and the Beast’ star Max Brown joining the cast in a mysterious role for season 2. The character he plays will be named Orion (at least in the beginning) and he will be a mysterious and powerful ally to Ichabod and Abbie, although his true nature won’t be revealed until later. He shows up for the first time after the winter hiatus in January.
— Game of Thrones has added Mr. Eko aka Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje to the cast for season 5. He’ll play playing Malko, although little is known about the character because it’s one being created specifically for the show and has never appeared in the books.
