Channing Tatum and “The Bridge” star Demian Bichir are the latest additions to the new Quentin Tarantino project “The Hateful Eight”….
Demian Bichir — best known for roles in television shows such as “The Bridge” and “Weeds” — has landed a coveted part in the upcoming Quentin Tarantino movie “The Hateful Eight”.
He joins recently added actor Channing Tatum as well as Samuel L. Jackson, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Kurt Russell, Tim Roth, Michael Madsen, Bruce Dern and Walton Goggins on the project that will begin filming in January.
Bichir will play Bob, the guest innkeeper at a mountain pass rest stop called “Minnie’s Haberdashery” when the story sets off after bounty hunters with a prisoner arrive looking for a safe place to stay after a blizzard cuts off their travel route.
As for Channing Tatum, his casting was first rumored on Wednesday, but now he’s been confirmed for the project. His role, however, has not been announced as of yet.
The new film will be produced by the Weinstein Co. with principle photography starting in January. As of now there’s been no release date confirmed for “The Hateful Eight”.
