Another iconic character from Batman’s past has been added to the cast of ‘Gotham’ with Lucius Fox showing up before the end of season one…
As ‘Gotham’ winds down its freshman season with the final four episodes starting in April, the show has cast a major character who will have a lifelong influence on Bruce Wayne.
Chris Chalk — best known for his work in ‘The Newsroom’, ‘Homeland’ and a guest special spot on the final season of ‘Sons of Anarchy’ — will play Lucius Fox, first appearing in the penultimate episode of ‘Gotham’ this season.
Lucius Fox is a pivotal character in the Batman universe acting as Wayne Enterprises CEO as well as a mentor and confidant to Bruce Wayne.
In the Batman film universe, Fox was portrayed by Morgan Freeman in all three of Christopher Nolan’s ‘Dark Knight Trilogy’ movies.
Chalk is scheduled to appear as Fox later this season with an option in place to appear in season two as well.
