Daisy Ridley Brought to Tears Watching New Star Wars: The Force Awakens Trailer

The new Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer hit quite a few people right in the feels but maybe none more than one of the stars of the film….

Before being cast in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Daisy Ridley was a relatively unknown actress from England who has reached superstar status in the past year without her film actually being released.

So Ridley has enjoyed every second of this ride from her casting being announced to an appearance at San Diego Comic Con to Monday night when she saw the new Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer along with millions across the world.

To catch the moment, Ridley had a friend film her watching the trailer for the first time on her phone.

Needless to say, she’s already captured the heart of Star Wars fans from here to a galaxy far, far away with her genuine emotion outpouring as she watches the trailer from start to finish with tears in her eyes.

From the look of things, Ridley has a major part to play in the movie with a big chunk of the trailer focusing on her character Rey, who is still largely a mystery when it comes to her relation to the rest of the Star Wars universe.

Check out the reaction courtesy of her Instagram page.

Truth be told — I teared up a little bit watching that trailer as well so let the crying begin because Star Wars: The Force Awakens will be here in two month’s time — the movie opens on December 18 everywhere.
