Daredevil season 2 is deep into production and ahead of the debut on Netflix in 2016 we’ve got your first look at The Punisher, Elektra and more….
Daredevil season 2 will definitely be one of the most highly anticipated shows of 2016, especially with the introduction of two very famous comic book characters who will come alive on the small screen for the first time this year.
Jon Bernthal — known to many fans as Shane from The Walking Dead — will portray vigilante Frank Castle aka The Punisher, who shows up in Hell’s Kitchen this season to dish out his own brand of justice that includes a lot of weaponry while acting as judge, jury and executioner for the criminals infecting New York.
The Punisher and Daredevil have a long history together in the comic book world and now they will do battle in Daredevil season 2 on Netflix.
Also debuting this season will be Matt Murdock’s complicated ex-girlfriend Elektra (played by newcomer Elodie Yung) and she’s going to bring the lawyer turned hero a lot of internal conflict as he deals with a woman he once loved who has a lot more to her than the woman he left behind in college.
These first look photos at both The Punisher and Elektra will give a sense of what to look for when Daredevil returns to Netflix for season 2 in 2016. Also don’t miss the image of Daredevil’s new costume — and updated look from last season with a darker color and a much better mask/helmet than he wore at the conclusion of last season.
