Everybody’s favorite Friend David Schwimmer is headed back to television this time playing in a dramatic role for ‘American Crime Story: The People vs. O.J. Simpson’….
The cast for Ryan Murphy’s new true crime series ‘American Crime Story: The People vs. O.J. Simpson’ continues to grow with ‘Friends’ star David Schwimmer being cast in a major role.
Schwimmer is set to play Robert Kardashian — the closest friend and legal advisor working on the Simpson case when it went to trial in 1995. Kardashian was of course the father to Kim, Khloe and Kourtney, who are now famous for….wait for it….okay still trying to figure that part out but you know who they are.
During the trial, Kardashian was planted next to Simpson throughout and although he didn’t act as lead counsel, he volunteered his services throughout as an aid to his good friend and long time confidant.
‘American Crime Story: The People vs. O.J. Simpson’ has already cast Cuba Gooding Jr. as Simpson as well as ‘American Horror Story’ favorite Sarah Paulson as prosecutor Marcia Clark.
The show is set to debut on FX in 2015.
