Gotham has added another veteran to the stellar cast of the upcoming debut season for the Batman prequel on FOX has ‘Dexter’ star David Zayas will have a recurring role playing Salvatore Maroni.
Maroni is an iconic Batman villain who appeared in the Christopher Nolan Dark Knight trilogy as played by Eric Roberts. Maroni is best known as the man who scars Harvey Dent in the Batman comic books when he throws acid in the district attorney’s face at a trial, disfiguring him for life and turning him into the murderous Two-Face.
In Gotham, Maroni is still getting his foothold on the crime inside of the famous city while battling his top challenger Falcone (played by John Doman).
