On Sunday at 2pm ET in the United States on BBC America, the 12th Doctor in the Doctor Who series will be revealed.
Fans of the long running science fiction show have been clamoring for information on who will replace Matt Smith, who is departing the series after his run on the show.
The special will air live on BBC America with special guests and an interview with the actor or actress who will be playing the new Doctor.
“The decision is made and the time has come to reveal who’s taking over the TARDIS,” Steven Moffat, executive producer for Doctor Who said in a press release. “For the last of the Time Lords, the clock is striking twelve.”
Smith will also make an appearance on the show before making one final turn as the Doctor in the upcoming Doctor Who 50th Anniversary Special and then disappears during the annual Doctor Who Christmas special airing later this year.
