The Rock might just be making his way to a major DC Comics project with Warner Bros. if you can smell what he’s cooking by his latest Twitter tease…
The casting for the upcoming Batman vs. Superman feature continues to get filled out with new roles rumored seemingly on a daily basis. From Gal Gadot, who his confirmed to play Wonder Woman, to Joaquin Phoenix, who is still just rumored to be in the running to play Lex Luthor.
Now the latest name to toss on the pile is former pro wrestler turned Hollywood strong man Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson.
On Tuesday, Johnson teased a big meeting he recently had with DC Comics and Warner Bros about an upcoming project. Obviously, it’s just speculation that it could be for the Batman vs. Superman movie, but with that film set to kick off in early 2014 it would seem like a good fit.
We just had a big meeting w/ Warner Bros CEO re: @DCComics 2014 we will partner up and create the cool bad assery. #RockTalk @ActionTilson

The Rock is the latest actor to possibly get his name attached to a major film project with Warner Bros and DC Comics. Jason Momoa — best known for his role in the hit HBO series Game of Thrones — was also rumored to be up for a role in the Batman vs. Superman movie.
At this point it’s hard to say what role The Rock could be up for, but given the fact that he’s already built like a comic book superhero, he could play just about anything in the DC Universe
