Studios will sometimes put a budget aside for a movie to make sure the right kind of trailer is put together to promote their latest project. The art of a good trailer is to wet the appetite of the viewing audience just enough so they want to come back and plunk down their hard earned money for whatever movie is being advertised.
It’s safe to say that when Man of Steel 2 opens in 2015, the droves of people flocking to the theater to see Superman square off with Batman will be insane no matter what the trailer happens to look like, but a better visual experience always gets the hype overflowing to a new kind of frenzy.
While Man of Steel 2 doesn’t even have a completed script yet, much less announced who would be the villain or who will play said villain, a fan released his own version of the trailer this week that should get every fan excited for the prospect of what’s to come.
The trailer features appearances from Henry Cavill’s Superman, Ben Affleck’s Batman and even a hopeful turn with Bryan Cranston starring as Lex Luthor.
