There will be plenty of zombies to go around with Fear the Walking Dead officially renewed for season 3 on AMC….
Less than a week after the season 2 debut, Fear the Walking Dead has already been picked up and renewed for season 3 on AMC with an even bigger episode order next year.
Fear the Walking Dead has enjoyed massive ratings since debuting last year and now the series will get a 16 episode order for season 3 that will debut in 2017. Season 2 will have 15 episodes total.
This season, Fear the Walking Dead picks up after the zombie apocalypse has already consumed Los Angeles as the survivors make their way to a yacht while trying to sail away from the trouble on land.
Starring Cliff Curtis and Kim Dickens in the lead roles, Fear the Walking Dead has been a ratings success for AMC since debuting with a six-episode order for the first season last year.
Now the spinoff series based on The Walking Dead has built its own audience with the show airing Sunday nights at 9pm ET on AMC.
Fear the Walking Dead season 3 will also enjoy the the post show series Talking Dead, which will also continue with the series each Sunday night after the episode airs.
