AMC revealed the premiere date for Fear the Walking Dead season 2 on Friday but there’s a slight catch to how the 15 episodes will air …
Fear the Walking Dead is set to return to your television screens on Sunday night, April 10 at 9pm ET with The Talking Dead with Chris Hardwick following the show at 10pm.
Fear the Walking Dead season 2 will run for 15 episodes this time (as opposed to the six episode first season) but the show won’t run for 15 consecutive weeks.
Much like The Walking Dead, which splits its seasons into two halves around the holidays, Fear the Walking Dead will do the same thing this year with the first seven episodes starting on April 10 and the last eight airing ‘later in 2016’ according to AMC.
Fear the Walking Dead season 2 will actually pick up the following week after The Walking Dead season six comes to an end. There’s no word yet on when the second half of Fear the Walking Dead season 2 will air, but chances are it will pick up exactly eight weeks out from the beginning of The Walking Dead season seven, which will launch in October.
