The time has finally arrived to see a glimpse of the Batman suit from the upcoming ‘Batman vs. Superman’ movie and here’s the first image…
Director Zack Snyder surprised everyone on Monday with a brief shot of the back end of the new Batmobile, but an even bigger shocker came on Tuesday when he tweeted out the first show of Batman (presumably with Ben Affleck inside) alongside the car.
This is the first shot of the new Batman suit that will be used in the upcoming ‘Batman vs. Superman’ movie set to be released in 2016.

Thoughts on the new Batman outfit compared to other Batman movies? The photo is in black and white so there’s no way to tell the exact color scheme but it would appear to be an all black suit. The cowl Batman is wearing also appears to have smaller horns than previous incarnations worn by actors such as Michael Keaton in ‘Batman’ and Christian Bale in the Dark Knight trilogy.
The brief look seems to indicate a similar image as the Batman outfit used in ‘The Dark Knight Returns’ — the iconic series from Frank Miller that is often called the definitive Batman story. ‘The Dark Knight Returns’ was also teased when announcing ‘Batman vs Superman’ last year at Sani Diego Comic Con.
‘Batman vs. Superman’ is currently filming in Detroit with a release date of May 6, 2016
