Following his seven year run as Jax Teller on Sons of Anarchy, Charlie Hunnam quickly moved from TV star to movie star with a huge list of directors all gunning for his services.
The first name on the list was Guy Ritchie, who cast Hunnam as King Arthur in his upcoming film series ‘Knights of the Round Table’ which began filming on Thursday.
Ritchie tweeted the first picture of Hunnam dressed as King Arthur to kick off filming as you can see below.

The film is expected to be the first in a series of movies from Ritchie as he follows Arthur from a young, streetwise gang leader in England to finding the legendary sword Excalibur to his quest to rule the kingdom that was stolen from him by a vile and evil king.
Hunnam is on board to star alongside Eric Bana and Jude Law.
