First Look: Jared Leto as The Joker from DC’s ‘Suicide Squad’ Movie

Jared Leto has been teasing his new look as The Joker for weeks and now ‘Suicide Squad’ director David Ayer has revealed his full look…

That’s not Heath Ledger and it’s certainly not Jack Nicholson.

In fact, Jared Leto has an entirely new look to his version of The Joker for the upcoming film ‘Suicide Squad’ from director David Ayer.

Leto has been teasing for weeks as to what he would look like with green hair and the full Joker outfit and now on the eve of the 75th anniversary of the character’s first appearance in Batman No. 1 it has been revealed.

Now there’s A LOT different about Jared Leto’s version of The Joker than anything that’s been done on film before. While he does appear to be slightly pale, there’s no white make up covering his face like every other version of The Joker that’s ever appeared in comics or on film.

Of course, who could miss Leto’s Joker rocking a set steel plated grill over his upper and bottom set of teeth. There’s also the mass of tattoos that are covering his body with The Joker’s signature smile and of course the maniacal laugh pulled right from the pages of the comic books.
