For the second time in his career, Paul Reubens will play Oswald Cobblepot’s father this time taking on the role in Gotham season 2 …
Paul Reubens — best known as Pee-Wee Herman to many fans — has officially started filming his new role playing Oswald Cobblepot aka The Penguin’s father on Gotham season 2.
Reubens’ casting was announced in October but he’s just now beginning to film his scenes although how many episodes he’ll star in remain to be seen.
Reubens is already familiar with this particular role considering he also played Oswald Cobblepot’s father in 1992’s Batman Returns from director Tim Burton.
Mr. Cobblepot will definitely have some parenting to do this season after Penguin lost his mother earlier this year thanks to the dastardly work of Theo Galavan before he was finally dispatched in the mid-season finale that aired in December.
