It’s been a long time coming but the first “Game of Thrones” video game is going to be released soon and the first trailer is now available…
There’s been talk of a “Game of Thrones” video game for years, ever since the TV show based on George R.R. Martin’s fantasy books became one of the biggest hits in HBO history.
Now the dream has become reality as Telltale Games — the same people behind the popular “Walking Dead” games — has created a story for an ongoing series that will be released later this year.
The first title called “Game of Thrones: Iron from Ice” puts you as a member of House Forrester, a family loyal to the Starks of Winterfell, who gets caught in the middle of the War of the Five Kings. From the game creators:
“Caught up in the events surrounding the War of the Five Kings, they are thrown into a maelstrom of bloody warfare, revenge, intrigue, and horror as they fight to survive while the seven kingdoms tear themselves apart.
You will take on the role of different members of the Forrester household, and determine their fate through the choices you make; your actions and decisions will change the story around you.”
