Full Costume Reveal for Grant Gustin as ‘The Flash’ (Photo)

Let the speculation end because The Flash is coming to the CW and costume designers have stayed pretty loyal to the iconic scarlet speedster outfit…

Grant Gustin will take over the role of The Flash in the upcoming CW series of the same title, currently slated for a 2014/2015 release date. While the show is still in pre-production, costume designers have come up with the outfit that Gustin will wear while acting as ‘The Flash’.

Overall, The Flash costume is fairly loyal to the original source material of the outfit worn by Barry Allen in the comic books. The red in the outfit is darker, but other than that the classic Flash symbol remains the same as well as the rest of the look for the character.

The Flash will be produced by Greg Berlanti, Andrew Kreisberg and David Nutter as well as DC chief writer Geoff Johns.
