‘Game of Thrones’ Final Season Episode 4 Photos Show the Aftermath of the Battle of Winterfell

‘Game of Thrones’ has released photos from the upcoming fourth episode of the final season in the aftermath of the Battle of Winterfell…

Many people died but in the end, the living were able to defeat the dead at the Battle of Winterfell.

Now HBO has released photos for the upcoming fourth episode of the final season of ‘Game of Thrones’ that shows the aftermath of that brutal battle that saw numerous characters perish including Jorah Mormont, Dolorous Edd, Lyanna Mormont and Theon Greyjoy.

In the end, it was Arya Stark who put an end to the fighting after she defeated the Night King before he could kill her brother Bran aka the Three-Eyed Raven.

When the next episode of ‘Game of Thrones’ picks up, it’s in the aftermath of that epic battle that saw much of Daenerys Targaryen’s army wiped out by the dead including the majority of her Dothraki screamers and a number of her Unsullied troops.

It appears from the photos that there will be a massive funeral for those who died but then it’s onto new orders of business — specifically planning the invasion of King’s Landing to take the Iron Throne away from Cersei Lannister.

Speaking of Queen Cersei, she returns in these photos after sitting out the past two episodes that took place entirely at Winterfell. Cersei has her new king in Euron Greyjoy and she’s hired 20,000 sellswords from the Golden Company to help her defend the throne from the dragon queen.

Judging by these photos, Daenerys is wasting no time planning and executing her invasion but what kind of army will travel with her to fight for the Iron Throne? We’ll have to wait until this Sunday night when ‘Game of Thrones’ returns for the fourth episode of the final season.
