The ‘Game of Thrones’ season 5 poster reveals an interesting encounter as Tyrion Lannister heads far away from Westeros….
It was only a matter of time before the different worlds in ‘Game of Thrones’ started to come together and some of those encounters kicked off last season. Stannis Baratheon arriving at the Wall to battle the Wildlings. Arya Stark heading to Braavos. Sansa Stark making a new home in the Eyrie.
Now it seems an even bigger collision is headed our way in ‘Game of Thrones’ season 5 as first teased in the trailer released last month.
Tyrion Lannister has fled King’s Landing after being convicted of killing King Joffrey and actually killing his father Tywin Lannister. Now as he makes his way to a new world far away from Westeros, it appears he’s being greeted by a fire-breathing beast named Drogon.

The new poster released on Friday gives further notion that Tyrion will eventually meet up with Daenerys Targaryen, who is currently dealing with the slave city of Meereen.
In addition to the new poster, ‘Game of Thrones’ has also released two new clips from the upcoming season.
In the first, Jon Snow is trying to convince Mance Rayder to join the cause and support Stannis Baratheon as the one true king of Westeros.
The second scene shows Brienne of Tarth talking to Podrick and trying to convince him that she’s no leader.
‘Game of Thrones’ season 5 debuts on HBO, Sunday night April 12 at 9pm ET.
