Emmy winner Ian McShane will join the cast of ‘Game of Thrones’ season 6 in a mystery part so let the speculation begin….
Ian McShane — best known for his Emmy winning role on the HBO series ‘Deadwood’ — has been added to the cast of ‘Game of Thrones’ season 6 in a mystery role.
Rumors are McShane won’t be on screen for a ton of time during ‘Game of Thrones’ season 6 but his role is integral to the story happening in the new season set to debut in 2016.
There were casting calls for several new additions joining the show this season but it’s unknown if McShane is filling one of those slots or a new character that’s been added since that time.
‘Game of Thrones’ season 6 will be going into largely uncharted waters after surpassing creator George R.R. Martin’s source novels, although he expects his next book — ‘The Winds of Winter’ — to be released in early 2016 and it may come out just head of the new season of the show.
Who is McShane playing? Who would you like to see him play?
