In another teaser ahead of Game of Thrones season 6, character posters were released on Wednesday with an ominous look at faces from the past and the present….
All men must die.
It’s been a recurring theme on Game of Thrones ever since the show started and as season 6 gets ready to debut on April 24, it’s clear that death will be very relevant in the next 10 episodes as well.
The ominous teaser trailer that was released a couple of weeks ago ended with a look around the House of Black and White and the wall of faces that typically belong to dead men and women.
In the middle of them all, however, were several characters who are still very much alive — for now anyways — including Tyrion Lannister and Daenerys Targaryen among them.
Was this a warning for what’s to come in the season ahead? Was this a harbinger to the brewing war north of The Wall where the dead are building an army to engulf Westeros in another long night?
Well the clues continue with a slew of new character posters released for Game of Thrones season 6 on Thursday. Take a look at all the different faces and see if you can guess at what’s about to unfold when the show returns April 24 on HBO.
And of course while many of the others include a famous quote along with their photo, Jon Snow is alone with no caption at all…
