The highly anticipated new season of Game of Thrones is just a few short months away after HBO finally announced the debut date for the popular series on Thursday.
Game of Thrones season 6 will debut on Sunday, April 24 at 9pm ET on HBO.
The show will run for 10 episodes with a later start date than Game of Thrones typically has on HBO, which means the sixth season will run deeper into June than usual with the finale date still to be determined.
There are a ton of questions surrounding Game of Thrones season 6 including the fate of Jon Snow as well as the appearance of several new characters who are joining the show this season.
HBO also announced that Silicon Valley will debut at 10pm ET on the same night as Game of Thrones season 6.
