‘Game of Thrones’ will wrap up an unbelievable April this Sunday night following the ‘Purple Wedding’ in episode 2 as well as Dany’s arrival in Meereen in episode 3. But as we approach May, there are plenty of
new plot lines developing including Tyrion’s trial for the murder of King Joffrey and much more.
HBO released details about the upcoming episodes on Wednesday with the titles and key stories being revealed.
On May 4 the episode “First of His Name’ debuts at 9pm ET/PT.
Cersei (Lena Headey) and Tywin (Charles Dance) plot the Crown’s next move. Dany (Emilia Clarke) discusses future plans. Jon (Kit Harington) embarks on a new mission.
On May 11 the episode “The Laws of Gods and Men” debuts at 9pm ET/PT
Stannis (Stephen Dillane) and Davos (Liam Cunningham) set sail with a new strategy. Dany meets with supplicants. Tyrion (Peter Dinklage) faces down his father in the throne room.
On May 18 the episode “Mockingbird” debuts at 9pm ET/PT
Tyrion enlists an unlikely ally. Daario (Michiel Huisman) entreats Dany to allow him to do what he does best. Jon’s warnings about the Wall’s vulnerability fall on deaf ears. Brienne (Gwendoline Christie) follows a new lead on the road with Pod (Daniel Portman).
What to take out of these details? Well first up, Tyrion’s trial will soon commence with him going up on murder charges for the death of King Joffrey following his wedding. It appears Brienne will head back onto the road with a new mission while taking Tyrion’s faithful squire Podrick with her on this trip.
