Pedro Pascal is going from Westeros to Themyscira.
Pascal — who is best known for his single season run on Game of Thrones as Oberyn Martell as well as his more recent role in the Netflix series Narcos — has joined the cast of Wonder Woman 2.
While details on Pascal’s character are being kept under wraps, he is reportedly playing a pivotal role in the follow up to the massive hit from 2017 starring Gal Gadot from director Patty Jenkins.
This time around, Wonder Woman 2 will move from World War I to the Cold War in the 1980’s with Kristen Wiig already attached to play Cheetah, who is the featured villain in the movie.
Gadot and Jenkins are both back for the sequel as well as most of the rest of the cast as Pascal joins one of the most highly anticipated sequels due out on November 1, 2019.
