The total viewers for the night tallied 9.3 million viewers with two additional airings on Sunday night.
The show as a whole has averaged 18.6 million viewers per week, making it the biggest show in HBO history surpassing The Sopranos final season, which raked in 18.2 million viewers per week. This season marks the largest single season ever for any HBO show.
‘Game of Thrones’ closed the door on season 4 last night but season 5 is already set to go and production on the season is expected to kick off in July.
