Peter Dinklage may be joining the Marvel Universe in a key role in the upcoming ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ movies…
Peter Dinklage — best known for his role as Tyrion Lannister on ‘Game of Thrones’ — is in early talks for a key role in the upcoming Marvel films ‘Avengers: Infinity War’, which will ultimately span two films directed by Anthony and Joe Russo.
While negotiations are just heating up, Dinklage is being eyed for a major part in the film series although no details have been leaked about who he might be playing.
Thanks to a late shooting schedule for ‘Game of Thrones’ season 7, Dinklage is available for ‘Avengers: Infinity War’, which is expected to film back-to-back for both movies starting later this summer.
The plot for ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ isn’t known at this time but famed Marvel villain Thanos — voiced by Josh Brolin — will be the main antagonist for the movies as well as the Infinity Gauntlet, a particularly powerful piece of hardware that’s been teased in almost all of the prior Marvel films.
The rest of the major cast members from all of the other Marvel films including Robert Downey Jr. Chris Evans, Chris Pratt and even newcomer Tom Holland are expected to appear in ‘Avengers: Infinity War’.
