FOX released its new fall TV schedule for this year including a powerhouse Monday night featuring the prequel Batman series ‘Gotham’….
Mondays are going to be a good night for television this fall as FOX unveiled its Fall schedule this week including the night for the new Batman prequel series Gotham, and the show has been teamed up with a critically acclaimed series for its debut.
While the date for the premiere hasn’t been revealed yet, ‘Gotham’ will take a 8pm slot on Monday nights leading into ‘Sleepy Hollow’, which begins season two this year at 9pm.
Thus far FOX has ordered 16 episodes of ‘Gotham’ for season one while ‘Sleepy Hollow’ will get an 18 episode order for its season two.
The new Monday night slate for FOX is expected to be one of the biggest two hours of television for the network, especially if ‘Gotham’ delivers the way most expect it to do. ‘Sleepy Hollow’ was a surprise hit last season and expectations are high for the second edition of this wonderfully campy, yet well executed fantasy drama.
