Milo Vengimiglia — best known for his role as Peter Petrelli on NBC’s ‘Heroes’ — has landed a recurring role in the latter part of the first season of ‘Gotham’ on FOX.
According to Deadline, Ventimiglia will play Jason Lennon aka The Ogre, who is a serial killer that’s stalked the women of Gotham City for a decade as he looks for the perfect mate. When a woman doesn’t live up to his standards, Lennon dispatches them by rather cruel means.
The character is new to the Batman universe and not connected to any previously created person from the comic books.
Ventimiglia will first appear in episode 19 and he’s expected to appear in more than one episode before the season wraps up later this year.
