‘Iron Fist’ and ‘Banshee’ star Tom Pelphrey has joined the cast of ‘Ozark’ season 3 in an important role in the popular Netflix series…
Tom Pelphrey — best known for his roles on ‘Iron Fist’ and ‘Banshee’ — has joined the cast of ‘Ozark’ season 3 currently in production for Netflix.
‘Ozark’ centers around Marty and Wendy Byrde and their family after they flee Chicago while making a deal with the Mexican cartel to launder their money through a series of businesses in the Ozarks. After arriving there, Marty figures out that he’s stepped into a whole new world than the one he left behind in Chicago while dealing with the Snell family, a local crime organization, not to mention the arrival of the mafia a season ago as plans were made to open a casino in order to launder even more drug money.
Pelphrey will be playing Ben Davis, younger brother of Wendy Byrde (played by Laura Linney, who shows up unannounced to remind his sister who she used to be and what exactly she’s running away from.
Jessica Frances Dukes, who most recently starred in ‘Marvel’s Jessica Jones’ will also take on a series regular role in season 3 as she portrays a forensic accountant working undercover with the FBI, who is working at the Byrde’s new casino in an attempt to bring them down from the inside.
Joseph Sikora and and Felix Solis will also join the cast for ‘Ozark’ season 3 — Sikora will play the son of the local mob boss tasked with working alongside the Byrde family with the new casino while Solis plays the leader of Mexico’s second biggest drug cartel.
‘Ozark’ season 3 is currently in production with a debut date on Netflix still to be announced.
