Veteran actress Jennifer Jason Leigh has landed the coveted role as the female lead in the upcoming Quentin Tarantino film “The Hateful Eight”…
Quentin Tarantino’s next film “The Hateful Eight” will get underway in early 2015 and now the film has a lead actress to play the part of Daisy (who was played by Amber Tamblyn in the live read earlier this year).
Jennifer Jason Leigh — best known for iconic roles such as ‘Fast Times at Ridgemont High” and “Single White Female” — has landed the part in the upcoming film where she’ll star alongside Samuel L. Jackson, Kurt Russell, Tim Roth and Michael Madsen.
The film will be Tarantino’s first work since the Academy Award winning movie “Django Unchained” landed in theaters in 2012.
Production on “The Hateful Eight” is expected to start in early 2015 with a fall 2015 release date currently slated for the movie.
