Another familiar face is returning to ‘Heroes Reborn’ as Jimmy Jean-Louis has officially signed on to reprise his role as The Haitian….
Jimmy Jean Louis — best known to ‘Heroes’ fans as the power zapping Haitian — will return to his role for the upcoming NBC event series ‘Heroes Reborn’.
Louis played The Haitian for all four seasons of the show spending much of his time as a partner to Jack Coleman’s character, Noah Bennet. Funny enough while many of the original cast members from the series are not returning, Coleman was actually the first person to sign on so chances are he’ll run into his old pal The Haitian at some point during the series.
For those who don’t remember — The Haitian aka Rene — had powers that actually zapped the abilities of others. Whenever he was in the room, people with abilities could no longer use any of their powers. The Haitian was also able to wipe the memory of a person just by laying his hands on them as he did numerous times throughout the series.
Louis joins Coleman and Masi Oka (Hiro Nakamura) as the other cast members from the original ‘Heroes’ to return for ‘Heroes Reborn’.
